We walked from Es Migjourn Gran down the Baranca de Binigaus to the sea and then along to Son Bou. This is a lush, verdant  limestone gorge. Flowers in abundance and more wild orchids than you could shake a stick at. Halfway down the gorge there is an enormous cavern, Cova de Collom.

However the main joy of the walk was the profusion and variety of wild orchids -  of the pseudocopulation kind- designed by evolution to mimic insects:
