Gin, Talyot & Calas
Our last walk on the island was a summation of earlier experiences. From the village of St Louis - which was the French garrisom in the C18th we visited another bronze age Talyotic remains, Trebauger.
Heading for the Camí de Cavills we went down a shorter more woody a limestone gorge where a class of 6/7 year olds were making their own Taula. Cala Rafalet was secluded (except for the pop-up clasroom)
The walk the carried along the limestone coast to Prima Punta - past another Martello tower to a Pomanda - the local gin and lemonade. Later this afternoon we walked to the Xorgier Gin distillery. Liqueurs are best remembered as holiday photos rather than something kept at the back of the cupboard.
